Welcome to Presentation Secondary School.
We are a Voluntary Catholic Secondary School for girls operating under the trusteeship of CEIST. It supports the Religious and Educational Philosophy of its Foundress, Nano Nagle.
While justifiably proud of our long heritage and tradition, we in the Presentation Secondary School strive for each student to be happy and secure here and reach her potential in a caring and co-operative community. Our school motto ‘Ad Vitam Paramus’ - ‘We are preparing for life’ - summarises the overall ethos of our school.

As a Catholic School and in Presentation tradition, religious education has a central place in the life of our school. We consciously strive to facilitate the active involvement of parents, clergy and representatives of local organisations in the overall mission of our school community. It is our fervent wish that our students leave us with enhanced self-confidence and with life-skills and attitudes which enable them to lead lives satisfying to themselves and lives which may contribute to the betterment of society.
Our Values
Board of Management
The Board of Management consists of representatives from the teaching staff, the parent body, and the Trustees.
It determines the ethos and status of the school . It is responsible for the management of the school which it delegates to the principal.

We are delighted to provide the opportunity for our students to engage in a wide range of sports and other activities. The school is privileged to have teachers and coaches who give generously of their time and expertise in the promotion of these activities.
